Famine

Hello everyone today I'm going to talk about Famine, because some days ago I  watched a documentary on TV about an African family who suffers. Because of famine, they need to walk long distances to give food and water to their children and animals. It is for this that I want you to know or have any notions about these realities.

Famine is a serious problem that is defined as the lack of food and resources in a specific population, region or geographical zone. This problem has direct relation with poverty and underdevelopment.

Also, famine is caused by many reasons like lack of resources in the region, inability of governments to improve the distribution, social chaos, economic and social exploitation exercised by other people or country, natural disasters, leaving the rest of the world’s nations behind.
Today in the world, around 24,000 people die every day because of famine or causes related to famine, and 75% of the deaths are children under five. An estimated 800 million people in the world suffer from hunger and malnutrition. Many experts believe that education is the best way to reduce hunger.
I hope you can see a problem like this with the seriousness and respect that it is needed.
See you later in the next post.
